Hey there, I’m Danielle. I was born and raised in the East of England and started travelling internationally with my family at the age of six. By the time I left high school, I had visited dozens of destinations within seven countries across Europe, North America and the Caribbean.

At the age of 17, I secured a Travel & Tourism apprenticeship for the UK’s number one tour operator, and this is where my love for travel flourished. Fast forward 13 years, and I have visited 54 countries across six continents, worked two summer seasons in Spain and spent two and a half years living in North Carolina (United States of America) and Melbourne (Australia).

Since returning to the UK in 2017, I have continued my work within the Travel & Tourism industry, in the marketing departments of a family-owned cruise line and a small group adventure travel company with the purpose of changing lives through travel.

I love writing, I love to travel, and you could say I’m addicted to social media. Authentic travel experiences inspire me. I want to build meaningful relationships with local communities when I travel and, I want to directly benefit the people and places that I am visiting.

Since the coronavirus epidemic impacted the way we live in early 2020, life has looked a little different. I haven’t travelled outside of the UK for more than one year (the most prolonged period in which I haven’t travelled since I was six), I lost my dream job, picked up part-time work in my local supermarket to survive and am now expecting twin girls with my partner. So, maybe saying life looks a little different is an understatement. With this in mind, the content of a blog is also a little different. Its become less travel-focused and more lifestyle; however, I’d love for you to stick around for the ride!
